Laurie Mason, Director
Laurie graduated from OCHSA and Los Alamitos High School. She received her BA from UCLA, School of the Arts, Cum Laude. She received her Masters of Arts in Education from Pepperdine University. She has been a member of the Young Americans and The Kids Next Door.
She made her directorial debut with the City of Santa Fe Springs where she created a Performance Outreach Program. She worked with over 600 students from elementary school to college involving them in drama, choral, musical theatre, dance and stagecraft. She is blessed to be celebrating 15 years of marriage to the love of her life, Dan Mason. Together they have two children, Ryan 12 and Taylor 10 and a Bernese Mountain Dog named Wally 3. Laurie joined the SCHS production team in 2015 where she helped create The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Christmas Carole and The Addams Family. She has loved working with the San Clemente High School Students. She hopes the love of theatre serves them well throughout their lives! She would like to thank the amazing Drama-Mama Booster Board for their continued support of the Arts in Education. Without them none of this would be possible.
David Anthony – Musical Director
David Jayden Anthony has worked in theatre education for the past 14 years. He most recently served as the Executive Director of Arts for Encore Education Charter Network overseeing multiple performing arts schools. David is currently adjunct faculty at Saddleback College where Directed Shrek and Music Directed Assassins earlier this year. David has also taught for the Young Americans College of the Arts and The Orange County School of the Arts.
